Thomas recently had the chance to try out IrisVR's visualization tool with one of our interior designs. The company offers a standalone app that converts cad drawings from Revit or SketchUp into virtual reality scenes. These scenes can then be watched using an Oculus Rift or GearVR headset. It's a truly immersive experience! Using virtuality reality really helps the viewer better understand the scale of furniture as well as layout decisions. We hope to incorporate virtual reality in our design and review process very soon, but in the meantime we keep improving our 3D rendering workflow.

Designed by SANAA architects, the public complex is a remarkable development which harmoniously integrates into the pastoral landscape. Here are some photos we took after their October 9th opening.
